Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality wants a traffic-safe, visually beautiful and clean road environment, which must be ensured by continuous cleaning of road areas from dirt and waste.

Cleaning is currently carried out by the municipality's own employees, and it is thus a question of competitive exposure of a municipal operational task that may result in contracting out. In connection with the tender, there shall be no transfer of undertakings, cf. the relevant legislation.

The task consists of fixed tasks that include cleaning curb-restricted public traffic lanes (roads and cycle paths, etc.) including shelters, chicanes and a few associated parking and turning places as well as other paths.

In addition, the assignment consists to a lesser extent of ordering tasks, which the prospective supplier only has to perform on order from the contracting entity. The ordering tasks include manual sweeping or collection of spilled waste/oil or broken glass, e.g. in connection with accidents.

A contract is offered for entry into force by signature and expiring on 31 December 2026 and with an option to extend for up to 3 x 12 months.
