This tender concerns the maintenance of watercourses for Egedal Municipality.

The covered watercourses in Egedal Municipality cover approx. 80 km. Open watercourse, and must be maintained up to 3 times a year in the period 1 June to 15 November, depending on the provisions of the Regulation, cf. Appendix 3. The total maintenance requirement annually is therefore approx. 200 km either mechanical or manual. There may be discrepancies between the regulatory dimensions and the actual conditions in the field. Such deviations may not be subject to adjustment of the contract price.

The contractor must be prepared to carry out maintenance in addition to the number of maintenance specified in the regulation. Additional maintenance does not necessarily include the entire contract, but may be sections. Further maintenance will be settled according to the unit prices stated in the offer form.

The maintenance of the watercourse is laid down in the current river regulations, where a description of maintenance methods and principles for weed cutting are described.

On the basis of his professional competence, the contraaor shall organise and carry out maintenance in such a way that the requirements of the regulations and Annex 3 are complied with and that the established weed cutting principles are complied with.

Egedal Municipality expects the annual consumption on the framework agreement to be approx. DKK 1,600,000, excluding VAT. The expected consumption per year is only an expression of Egedal Municipality's estimates, which are not binding during the agreement period.

The tender is conducted as an EU public tender in accordance with Title II of Act No. 1564 of 15 December 2015, the "Procurement Act", which means that any suitable tenderer has the right to submit a tender.

The tendered framework agreement enters into force on 1 May 2023 and ends without notice on 30 April 2025. Furthermore, Egedal Municipality has an option to extend for up to 2 x 12 months.

Based on the tender, the framework agreement will be concluded with one supplier.

Egedal Municipality has chosen to offer a comprehensive framework agreement instead of separate partial agreements, because it is Egedal Municipality's assessment that an overall agreement will give Egedal Municipality the most appropriate and most advantageous solution financially.
