The Swedish Agency for Participation (MFD) invites tenders in a procurement regarding support function for users, clients, financiers and trainers of assistance dogs (not guide dogs for people with visual impairments).

The support function will facilitate the match between users, financiers and trainers of assistance dogs. The support function includes, among other things, responsibility for:

ensure that there are quality-assured and independent assistance dog instructors,suitability test dogs and handlergraduates assistance dog teamsfollow up assistance dog teams through annual tests/functional checks provide information about approved assistance dog instructorsprovide advice to drivers, municipalities, regions and other stakeholders.

The procurement is for 1 + 1 year and the annual remuneration for the assignment is SEK 1,000,000.
