The Province of Noord-Brabant intends to award a contract for maintenance work on the N268 between Dinteloord and Oud-Gastel (km 0,000 – km 10,957).

The N268 is in need of (major) maintenance on various assets.

The intended goal is to make the N268 safe and available. This mission aims at the following sub-objectives:

- Technically optimal functioning of the road for a period of at least 10 years.

- Prevent rapidly increasing repair costs due to consequential damage, so that the road can be used smoothly and safely.

- Better integration of the road into the environment by reducing noise pollution by using silent asphalt.

- Optimize traffic within the space of the road profile (provincial property) and destination in the context of Sustainable Safety.

- Additional work such as adjusting VRI's and OVL and planting verges.

Part of the award criteria is a pilot circular material use.
