Description:
Support the implementation of the EEA-Eionet Digital Capability Strategy by enhancing data governance, modernising data systems, integrating advanced analytics and AI technologies, developing high-quality datasets, and providing training to strengthen the Eionet network.

Support for the implementation of the EEA-Eionet Digital Capability Strategy, ensuring horizontal alignment across data reporting, lifecycle management and interoperability standards for EEA, Eionet and the European Commission. Assisting with the implementation of data governance standards and processes and the transition of data flows to modernised systems, including Reportnet, the EEA DataHub and Data Lakehouse architectures. Support for advanced analytics and data intelligence through the integration of AI, machine learning, Large Language Models (LLMs) and data mining, including the use of data cubes and the integration of Copernicus and Earth Observation data with EEA repositories. Development of reusable, high-quality datasets for modelling, indicators and assessments, leveraging Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) to modernise digital services and provide support to thematic areas. Support for driving innovation via new technologies and data sources to enhance operational efficiency and impact. Strengthening the Eionet network through technical capacity building, including the delivery of specialised training, workshops and webinars on geospatial data, data architecture and digital/data skills development.
