The municipality of Bremen intends to build a modern, area-saving long-distance bus station in the area of the former freight yard in the immediate vicinity of the Bremen central station. The Fernbusterminal covers an area of approximately 4 500 m 2 for a total of 11 stops with an entrance and exit via adjacent public roads in the interiors. The Fernbusterminal is being built in combination with a privately financed hotel location and parking garage. The transport development of the entire project will require additional redevelopment of the adjacent public roads. The total construction cost of the project amounts to approx. EUR 7.70 million gross.
