EWE NETZ GmbH intends to build a biogas feed-in plant for the feed-in of biogas into both the local grid (low pressure) and the regional high-pressure grid. EWE Netz GmbH is obliged to connect subscribers in accordance with the Gas Network Access Ordinance to connect biogas producers to its gas supply network via a grid connection and to operate the grid connection. EwE Netz GmbH is therefore planning to build and operate a biogas feed-in plant (BGEA) with a liquefied natural gas storage facility at the Ems-Dollart Ring site on parcel 20/40 of corridor 9 in Friesoythe (northern Germany). The liquefied petroleum gas warehouse with two tanks (capacity of 80 tons each) is used to store liquefied natural gas for the provision of the new plant to be built as well as two other existing biogas feed-in plants of EWE Netz GmbH. The nominal capacity of the biogas feed-in plant is 6,200 Nm³/h biomethane. The biogas feed-in system is designed for inlet pressures between 2.5 bar overpressure and 3.5 bar overpressure.
With this procurement, EWE NETZ GmbH would like to conclude a contract for the turnkey construction of a biogas feed-in plant in Friesoythe.
