The Berufsgenossenschaft Energie Textil Elektro Medienprodukte (BG ETEM) offers seminars in the company's own training centre in Bad Münstereifel for managers, occupational safety specialists, technical experts, works councils, safety officers, trainees and all groups of people who would like to train in the field of occupational safety and health protection. Through the use of a variety of media, teaching content is conveyed in a practice-oriented manner. The seminars focus on technical and psychological topics, which are dealt with in teaching discussions, in dialogue and in the exchange of experience.
In this concept, one of the thematic offers is the training course for occupational safety specialists (Sifa), which is carried out on behalf of accident insurance institutions as well as in the free offer. The successful completion of the Sifa training course is a qualification requirement for occupational safety specialists in companies.
BG ETEM implements the corresponding training offer with its own personnel, but from 01.08.2023 it will also require external lecturers as learning companions in this training course for new training courses.
The understanding of the learning companion in the Sifa training course is not comparable to a usual understanding of lecturers, but corresponds to an enabling didactics. This training course focuses on the active acquisition of skills by learners.
UA III of the DGUV Working Group on Training and Further Education formulates four guidelines in the "Didactic Guidelines for the Future Qualification of Occupational Safety Specialists", which serve as the basis for the external service of the educational institution advertised here:
1. Competence orientation in the design of qualification 2. Self-responsible learning through orientation towards enabling didactics 3. Work-related approach as a structure-determining feature 4. Selection of methods and media that support active learning directed by the learner himself These guidelines imply a changed role of learners: responsibility for their own learning process and competence development now lies with them. The contents are no longer lectured, but must be actively developed by them. The way of working has also changed: cooperative and collaborative learning in seminars and SOL are replacing the classic transfer of knowledge in lectures.
The service required by the invitation to tender is defined according to the cited template with some characteristics of the desired understanding of roles:
• Change from the understanding of the teacher to learning support • instead of exclusively imparting specialist knowledge and skills, targeted support for the acquisition of competences • Dissolution of the power gap between teachers and learners; The learning support is about a common process of learning at eye level • Individual learning interest of the learners is the focus • The learning support has a systematic overview of the processes and contents of the course in the form of a "red thread" and thus offers the learners orientation.
• Method selection according to the FUN principle: Self-directed, productive-constructive, activating, situational and social learning methods support learning with all senses and thus promote individual development.
• The competence-oriented approach leads to the fact that instead of the classic performance evaluation, the focus is on the individual competence development and assessment of the learners.
• Accompanying the learners in the SOL requires a confident handling of the Sifa learning world on the learning platform.
• The team teaching with other learning facilitators defined in the training model requires close coordination before, during and after the learning process and a collegial and supportive attitude towards the co-learning companion • The three formats seminar, SOL and internship require good interface work in order to generate as little friction losses as possible in the learning support.
The service advertised here refers to necessary measures of the Sifa learning support in the area of know-how for the formats o Seminar o SOL and o Internship along the areas Knowledge of safety and health at work Didactics Sifa Learning World Competence development and recording in the learning fields LF 1 – 5.
