SSEN are charged with the responsibility to connect multiple geographically dispersed renewable generation sites to the transmission network in order to meet the UK stated goal of a transition to net zero carbon emissions. To meet these objectives SSEN require flexible and agile solutions to facilitate these connections in a cost effective and timely fashion. In response to these challenges, SSEN are exploring the nature and scope of opportunities that may be realised by the implementation of a Dynamic Line Rating (DLR) system.
In the context of this information WE request the following requirements will be met.
