The subject of the contract is the development of a variant design concept together with the Functional and Utility Program (PFU) for the task entitled: "Extension of the existing roundabout intersection, at the junction of national roads No. 35 and 35a and the connector of the Kobierzyce junction of the S8e road and the district road of Wrocławska Street in the city of Tyniec Mały, Kobierzyce commune" in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Development and Technology of December 20, 2021 on the detailed scope and form of design documentation, technical specifications for the execution and acceptance of construction works and a functional and utility program. The aim of the study is to prepare a variant design concept together with the Functional and Utility Program specifying the precise requirements of the Ordering Party regarding the full scope of design works, necessary formal and legal documentation and construction works. In addition, the Functional and Utility Program will be the basis for calculating the costs of the entire project and preparing a price offer by potential contractors of design works (ZRID mode) and construction works in the "design and build" formula. The main objective of the project is to improve road safety and increase the capacity of the intersection by making the so-called bypasses and widening the roundabout shield in order to introduce traffic rules like at a turbine roundabout. The addition of additional lanes should significantly improve traffic conditions at the intersection and contribute to the elimination of congestion. Separating vehicles turning right from the roundabout road and canalising individual directions at the inlets to the intersection should also improve road safety. It is planned to make bypasses: - for the exit from the S8 connector (Kobierzyce junction) to Bielany Wrocławskie (DK35), - for the exit from Bielany Wrocławskie in the direction of Małuszów (DK35a), - for the exit from the county road from Tyniec Mały (Wrocławska Street) in the direction of the Kobierzyce junction. If necessary, confirmed by the capacity analysis of the intersection, additional lanes should also be provided.
