NTNU The Science Museum, Section for Archaeology, is responsibility for archaeological digs in Mid-Norway in accordance with the Cultural Memorial Act. The digs at Ørland fighter jet base have uncovered settlement traces from the iron age over an area of approx. 90 000 m2. Samples have been gathered from the examined structures for analysing macro fossils, soil chemistry and C14-dating of archaeological contexts. In this procurement we shall get the necessary analyses of these samples.
