Framework agreement for the supply and management of consumables by delivery at departmental level.
On 1 January 2020, the new Welfare Association Key Care was launched. This new association coordinates and manages all care services of the local government of Temse and aims to offer a wide range of services in the field of care, in the first place, to the population of Temse.
The Welfare Association Key Care has approximately 300 staff members who provide the following services:
• the residential care centres De Reiger and 't Blauwhof
• the centre for short stay De Reiger
• the group of assisted living apartments Residence Elisabeth
• home care services
• the local service centre 't Achterpoortje
The Welfare Association Key Care wishes to conclude a framework agreement for the supply and management of consumables by means of delivery at departmental level, so that care tasks can be carried out as easily and efficiently as possible for the nursing and care professionals. The logistics partner that will be appointed for this purpose must be responsible for the item and stock management, as well as the delivery of consumables so that this process can run efficiently within the facilities.
The starting point is a weekly delivery in Residential Care Centre De Reiger and Residential Care Centre 't Blauwhof where materials are delivered by cart at departmental level to a central delivery point in the facilities.
The logistics partner must guarantee through a thorough order and stock management system that the Welfare Association Key Care works 'lean' and that the daily internal operation is optimized. We therefore expect a real partnership from the candidate in which during the entire duration of the assignment in dialogue is focused on unburdening, the diversity of services, efficiency of processes, cost control, delivery reliability and financial feasibility and this from the range of innovative solutions.
We aim for a weekly delivery in which materials are supplied on cart per department level and per site (WZC De reiger or WZC 't Blauwhof).
The following product groups can be included among the consumables:
- medical and care materials
- supply of incontinence material
- hygienic stationery
- keukenbenodigdheden
- cleaning products and materials
- personal protective equipment
In addition, a product catalog will have to be added with additional products available in stock, technical data sheets and prices, offering the possibility to place online orders.
For each item included in the inventory, a probable quantity was determined. These probable quantities are an estimate and do not bind the contracting authority in any way.
