The building to be renovated KWM 6-14 is located on the site of the former Kraftwerk Mitte, in 01067 Dresden. The building dates from 1895 and was built for the operation of electrical switchgear. The building has been unused since 1996.

The building has a basement, ground floor and 6 upper floors (3rd - 6th floor in the guy tower). The top floor is approx. 23 m above ground. The building is predominantly made of solid brick masonry, the ceilings were made of reinforced concrete.

The site is located between Könneritzstrasse, Schweriner Strasse, Wettiner Platz, Alfred-Althus Strasse and Ehrlichstrasse.

The work is carried out in parallel to the services of other building trades on the site.

Demolition:

- approx. 1 120 m² concrete roof tiles,

- approx. 440 m² bitumen waterproofing,

- approx. 380 m rafters IPE 100,

- ties,

- steel skylights.

Steel construction:

- 185 m rafters IPE 100,

- rebuild 10 roof skylights,

- Perforated 1,880 m² steel trapezoidal sheet.

Roof sealing:

- approx. 1 880 m² bead filler, insulation and bitumen waterproofing,

- approx. 95 m² bitumen waterproofing on guy tower.

Roofing:

- Re-cover the tower roof with beaver tail.

Plumbing work:

- renew approx. 80 floor banks,

- approx. 55 m² standing seam covering,

- Zinc sheet gutters,

- fire wall cladding,

- wall connections,

- downpipes.

Others:

- approx. 1 260 m rust protection based on linseed oil,

- 8 RWA systems,

- lifeline system,

- Installation parts for ventilation ducts,

- balcony waterproofing.
