The district-free city of Zweibrücken has set itself the goal of continuing to secure the city centre as a lively city centre. With diverse usage structures from trade, services, public facilities, housing and leisure facilities, the city centre is to be adapted to the widely noticeable structural change.

In May 2021, the council of the city of Zweibrücken adopted the inner city development concept (ISEK) "Mitte Zweibrücken", the implementation of which is to accompany the inner city management to be established.

Downtown Management:

- acts as an interface between inner-city actors, residents and the city administration.

- supports the city administration in the implementation of the measures defined in the ISEK and public participation.

- is present as a direct contact person on site and is significantly involved in the establishment and establishment of a city office.

- works closely with the established city management, whose main areas of activity are in the field of trade and gastronomy.

Main tasks:

- Implementation of THE measures of the ISEK.

- Activation and advice to local actors, property owners, traders in the (structural)

- Contact person for questions about measures and the implementation of the ISEK.

- Active networking with local stakeholders.

- Press work in coordination with the city administration.

- Maintenance of the website of the assisted area.

- Organize and carry out public relations and participation processes for the measures to be implemented.

- Participation in events in the city center.

- Motivation of local actors, property owners and residents to get involved in the assisted area, e.B. in the

- Contact person for questions regarding the implementation of the ISEK.

- Evaluation and monitoring of the measures.

- Cooperation with the already established city management.

- Preparation of a short progress and activity report at the end of the calendar year.

- Occasion-related reporting in political bodies.
