Expansion of the cycle and footpath connection Gruga-Trasse between the A 52 motorway bridge in Essen-Rüttenscheid and the Kurt Schumacher Bridge in Essen-Steele

Preparation of an outdoor facility planning in accordance with § 39 HOAI with the service phases LP 4-9

Existing plans

For the planning of work phases 1-3 (basic evaluation, preliminary design, design planning), the landscape architecture firm Rolf Teschner, Dülmen, was commissioned by the Department 67, Grün and Gruga. Furthermore, the office DOSER KEMPEN KRAUSE INGENIEURE GmbH, Aachen, was commissioned for the planning of the bridge over the street Am Glockenberg. The office LINDSCHULTE INGENIEURGESELLSCHAFT mbH, Münster was commissioned with the expansion planning of the bridge over Eschenstraße as well as the office L+S LANDSCHAFT + SIEDLUNG AG, Recklinghausen for the preparation of an accompanying landscape conservation plan and a species protection assessment.

Further planning

On the section to be expanded, the existing bridge "Am Glockenberg" (section 8) will be demolished and replaced by a new 5.50-metre-wide one. On Eschenstraße (section 10), an existing bridge structure will be widened to 6.50 metres.

Stadtwerke Essen AG is currently planning the construction of new sewer structures at the level of Eisenbahnstraße / Rellinghauser Straße (section 8). According to the current state of planning, the canal construction work is to be carried out largely in underground tunnelling. Along the Gruga route, several press and tailings pits are to be built next to the roadway in the course of the work. The work is scheduled to be carried out between the beginning of 2025 and the end of 2026.

Description of the required planning services:

The basic services are to be commissioned in accordance with HOAI 2021 of service phases 4 to 9 open spaces fee zone III on the basis of the existing design planning of sections No. 1 to No. 11 for the widening of the Gruga route.

In addition, planning services are to be developed for the compensatory and replacement measures of the present landscape conservation accompanying plan (measures 1-14, 16-18) of service phases 3 to 9 outdoor facilities, according to HOAI 2021 fee zone III basic services.

In addition, additional, special services must be provided:

- Preparation and compilation of documents for the commissioning of third parties (expert commissioning) (LP 4)

- Participation and preparation of cost statements, planning documents, application and accounting for subsidies (LP 4)

- The planning of a partial, preferably solar-powered lighting of the route according to the present design planning (LP 4, LP 5)

- Preparation of approval documents and applications according to special requirements (LP 4)

- Preparation of documents for special technical test procedures (load plate compression tests, static verifications, vibration reports, preservation of evidence procedures) (LP 4)

- Participation in obtaining permits and permits from third parties (e.g. residents, line carriers) (LP 4)

- Participation in obtaining permits and permits in accordance with nature conservation, technical and statutory law (LP 4)

- Adaptation of signage and signposting according to HBR NRW (LP 4)

- Preparation of a management plan for the maintenance and development of the areas of the compensatory and replacement measures (measures 1-14, 16-18) (LP 5)

- Participation and reporting in political committees (LP 5,8)

- Creation of construction signs (LP 8)

- Participation in appointments with citizens and residents as well as documentation of the appointments (LP 8)

- Conducting regular, weekly construction meetings including the preparation of meeting minutes (LP 8)

- Bauoberleitung (LP 8)

- Ecological construction supervision during the implementation of the compensatory and replacement measures of the landscape conservation accompanying plan (measures 1-14, 16-18) and during the construction period for the protection of woody plants and vegetation structures along the path (LP 8)

- Supervising maintenance and development maintenance (LP 9)

- Monitoring the rectification of defects within the limitation period (LP 9)
