City of Neustadt an der Weinstraße - station forecourt incl. central bus station
The present terms of reference relate to the redesign of the
Station forecourt with integrated central bus station in Neustadt an der Weinstraße in the south of Rhineland-Palatinate.
The town of Neustadt has about 53,000 inhabitants and, together with the neighbouring Haßloch, forms a medium-sized centre in the Palatinate region. The city is an important school, work and administrative location and also a shopping and tourist city. The station with its open spaces is an important hub for regional public transport in rail and bus transport.
The tendered work is to be carried out in sections. Four construction sites were defined in advance for the construction process (plans: 16.4 Construction sequence planning).
The construction site has a total processing area of 8,500 square meters.
In construction site 1 with a processing area of around 1,725 square meters, demolition and dismantling work on the existing pavements, drainage facilities and fixtures will begin in November 2023. After completion of all services, construction site 2 will follow in the eastern area with a total processing area of around 1,300 square meters. The DB car park must be accessible at all times during the measure,
so that construction site 2 was divided into three subsections. Site 3 is the middle area and actual forecourt with an area of approx. 4,360 square meters.
The final project is construction site 4 with a floor area of approx. 1,060 square meters.
The tendered works are closely related
with the new hotel construction and must be adapted in time to the preliminary work of the building construction.
The planting work (mainly tree planting) is carried out in the processing phase of the respective construction phases. As a result, the completion maintenance services start and end with a time delay.
The completion maintenance is commissioned over a period of 12 months. Finishing care begins immediately after planting. Development maintenance is not part of this call for proposals.
