Extent

The assignment aims to strengthen the competitiveness of the Swedish horticulture industry with a special focus on a changing climate with recurring periods of extreme weather. The assignment also aims to strengthen the skills of both cultivation companies and advisors.

The assignment includes fruit, berries, vegetables in the open field and in greenhouses as well as ornamental and nursery plants. The assignment is divided into three different blocks (A, B and C) and each block has several activities to be performed.

The assignment includes fruit, berries, vegetables in the open field and in greenhouses as well as ornamental and nursery plants. The assignment is divided into three different blocks (A, B and C) and each block has several activities to be performed.

- Block A covers information and demonstration activities.- Block B includes training measures for advisors.- Block C includes training measures for growers.

The assignment may consist of one or more of these topics:

water management/supply

Cultivation technology/plant protection

Measures against pests

If all the above three substances are included in all blocks (A, B and C), an added value will be provided.

Please note that the below requirements under each block are a minimum. It does not prevent the provider from doing more activities if it falls within the requirements of the different blocks.

Total budget is SEK 15,000,000. The tenderer chooses how the distribution between the blocks is to be made at the time of submission of the tender. However, this distribution cannot be changed thereafter.
