The requested service consists of transport and rail related activities, such as driving maintenance vehicles on the subway track (operator) and accompanying these maintenance vehicles (pilot).

If there is work on or around the subway track where a locomotive or other railway vehicle must be used, GVB must take care of a Pilot/operator. The function of a pilot on the rail can be compared to that of a pilot in shipping. A pilot has knowledge

of a specific job subject, has completed the internal training to become a CFP pilot, and is deployed at the moment when a driver with insufficient awareness of a job profession has to go into this course

drive. Between the two forms of service is worked by a Machinist/Pilot with function VHP (hereinafter referred to as: Safety Person)

Total service is based on an estimate for 2022, 2400 hours on an annual basis
