With the tender, the Municipality wishes to achieve the following objectives with one contractor:

- Obtaining a generic and area-oriented exemption under the Nature Conservation Act for building-dwelling species (at least the building-dwelling bats, swifts, house sparrows and, depending on the research, also for house martins, barn swallows and possibly the stone marten) within the entire municipality of Veenendaal.

- A Species Management Plan describing the measures to be taken for the conservation and improvement of protected species and how the effects of these measures can be monitored.
