The object of this procurement is the operational management of the public lighting systems in the city of Seelze (approx. 3,700 light points) including maintenance and repair, renewal and control. The future contractor shall also be commissioned as required with individual services arising during the term of the contract for the construction, conversion, dismantling or modification of street lighting systems. In addition, he is to install a new lighting control system and operate it during the term of the contract. The control is to become the property of the city. The future contractor shall, as far as this is legally possible, be responsible for the lighting systems and, in particular, ensure that disturbances and failures that pose a danger to road safety or a danger to life and limb are eliminated immediately after knowledge or (if not possible) at least provisional measures are taken to remedy the situation. For this purpose, the contractor shall maintain a constant telephone acceptance of information about malfunctions and failures. For the purpose of providing the lighting service, the contractor shall be granted by the city a right to use the lighting systems necessary for the success of the lighting, which extends as far as is necessary to fulfil the contractual obligations.
