Weapons, ammunition and associated parts. The Authority has a potential requirement for the manufacture and supply of a range of ceremonial saluting natures for use in the 105MM FD L118, 13 Pounder and 3 Pounder ceremonial saluting guns.

At this stage, the following items have been identified, are for information only and are subject to change:

— cartridge blank 105MM FD 6OZ GP L48A1 — Build to print,

— cartridge blank 3 PR,

— cartridge blank 13 PR 4oz,

— cartridge blank 13 PR 8oz,

— cartridge blank 13 PR 1lb.

The contract will be 3 years Firm, with options to buy quantities of the ammunition for an additional 2 years.

It is the initial intention of the Authority, where practicable and available, to supply Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) for the 105MM FD 6OZ GP L48A1 blank and a technical data pack for the manufacture and supply of this item.

For all the other natures, the Authority no longer retains the GFE. Therefore, an appropriate solution is requested.

There will also be options to procure additional quantities of ammunition throughout the duration of the contract and for a further 2 years after the initial 3 year requirements.
