Provision of a Healthy Eating Cook and Eat Classes Programme to provide residents with the skills, confidence, and knowledge to cook healthy food on a budget.

The service will take a proportionate universalism approach, open to all Bexley residents but focused in the borough’s areas of highest need to help reduce local health inequalities.

The service will be made up of the following elements:

• A five week Cook and Eat Class Programme providing Bexley residents with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to cook healthy and nutritious food on a budget.

• Identify and train individuals from community groups or organisations to be able to deliver Cook and Eat Classes, trained to an accredited standard, such as the OCN accredited level course in Healthy Eating and Running a Cookery Club
