KG 499: Heat and cold insulation work

Complete renovation of an accommodation building of the German Armed Forces. The building consists of sections A, B and C. The buildings are arranged in a U-shape and connected to each other. Building sections A and B have a very similar structure and each consist of a building with a gable roof with UG, EG, OG and DG. They form the side legs of the U. Building section C with basement and upper floor connects buildings A and B laterally with its front sides at the upper ends. The supply of building part C is carried out from the adjacent buildings A and B, with the separation in the middle.

After gutting, the entire building services will be rebuilt. Two ventilation systems will be set up. Plant one supplies Building A and half of Building C. The second plant supplies Building B and the other half of Building C. There are two heating plants (district heating), which are located in buildings A and B. There will be 98 residential units in hotel standard and other rooms such as kitchenettes, common rooms and cleaning rooms. Each residential unit has its own sanitary cell, which is mechanically ventilated.
