South Cambridgeshire District Council (SCDC) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced service provider to expand the provision of the Mobile (Community) Warden Schemes across the district. The Service will take the form of weekly home visits and daily telephone calls; assistance with basic administration (such as opening letters, paying bills, making appointments, ensuring that the client attends appointments); collecting prescriptions, newspapers, and basic essentials (e.g milk, bread etc.); arranging transport to social and health appointments; providing social and emotional support through befriending.
SCDC is looking to appoint either one service provider or a number of suitably qualified and experienced providers. Therefore, this contract is broken down into a number of lots and bidders may bid for some or all lots.
