The contracting authority also provides for the award of contracts referred to in Article 214(1)(7) of the PPL.
a) In the procedure in question, the Contracting Authority provides for the award of the contract referred to in Article 214(1)(7) of the Public Procurement Law in the scope of extending the contract to supplementary products of the group life insurance programme, which are normally offered by the Contractor as part of the market offer. The maximum value of the additional contract in this respect is 75% of the value of the basic contract.
b) Supplementary products that may be offered to the employees of the Contracting entity and members of their families will constitute an optional insurance scope enabling supplementing the protection available to these persons by joining the program resulting from the basic contract. Each of the insured persons will have the opportunity to choose one or several complementary products, thus enabling individualization of the scope of insurance cover. Complementary products may include, for example:
1) supplementary package of benefits related to the death of the insured,
2) a supplementary package of benefits related to the health of the insured,
3) supplementary package of benefits related to the death of the spouse / partner of the insured person,
4) a supplementary package of benefits related to the health of the spouse / partner of the insured person,
5) a supplementary package of benefits related to the death of an insured child,
6) a supplementary package of benefits related to the health of the insured child,
7) a supplementary package of benefits related to the occurrence of an accident,
8) supplementing the package of benefits related to permanent incapacity for work in the profession currently performed by the insured person,
9) supplementary assistance benefit package.
c) The list presented above contains complementary products expected by the Ordering Party available on the Polish market. The offer of supplementary products will be determined by the Contractor with the Contracting Authority through negotiations conducted under the single-source procurement procedure.
d) The planned commencement of the additional contract completion period is the same as the commencement of the basic contract service. The period of provision of services under the additional order shall be agreed between the Contracting Authority and the Contractor.
