The service component is the planning, procurement, construction and trial operation of a new shore power plant to be built and connection to the existing system for the simultaneous supply of two cruise ships with electrical energy during port layovers. The certification of the individual components,

as well as the complete systems, each with ship according to the standard, is also part of the service. The existing shore power system, which is certified in accordance with the IEC 80005-1 standard, can be replaced by the construction of an additional shore power system.

Obtaining the building permit in compliance with the building permit/building acceptance for the existing building is part of the contractor's service. The contractor is also responsible for the preparation of the implementation planning.

For the approval planning, an architect of the bidder in accordance with the State Building Code for the State of Schleswig-Holstein (LBO); to involve special experts such as fire protection experts/sound insulation planners. The bidder provides planning for buildings, infrastructure (cable routes), structural engineers, technical building equipment as well as medium-voltage and converter technology. The bidder must obtain the building permit. The existing 10 kV MV switchgear - output field is defined as the interface to the power supply. An additional outlet field must be integrated into the existing system. The interfaces to the ships are the plugs of the transfer facilities. The junction boxes on the quay in the existing building as well as the ship connection system (Lot 1) are to be functionally integrated into the overall system, thus becoming part of the overall commissioning and overall certification.

The interfaces to the client/operator are the LV supplies, connections to the existing fire alarm system, connections to the IT/communication infrastructure and to the billing/energy management system for electrical energy for the ships. The new plant to be built must be connected to the existing plant

and be compatible with the ship's connection system, as well as the existing safety loops. Technology and cables are to be planned and installed in the existing building. Necessary civil engineering work, including necessary barriers in the port area, must be carried out. Existing roads can be used for sections. The civil engineering work may not be carried out during the cruise season (April to October). The temporary decommissioning of the existing facility in order to put the new facility to be built into operation is possible to keep it short and not to be carried out during the cruise season (April to October).
