The complex procurement processes carry out the purchasing network for these institutions in order to share procurement costs and to pool volume, procurement and material knowledge so that purchasing and efficiency benefits can be achieved. In addition, the purchasing network promotes, among other things, the development of members' expertise, the professionalization of procurement and procurement processes and the improvement of purchasing contracts.
