The awarding service includes the implementation of energy supply contracting with efficiency measures for 10 buildings in the city of Geislingen an der Steige. The useful heat demand for all properties is approximately 2,700 MWh/a, and the electricity requirement is approximately 550 MWh/a.
The city of Geislingen an der Steige writes out energy supply contracting services with efficiency measures as part of a Europe-wide procurement process. In some buildings, heat demand must be reduced by efficiency measures in existing buildings (renewal of heating circuit control, replacement of DHW heating, optimizing ventilation systems, replacing pumps). The future heat supply must be designed to meet the reduced energy demand in each case. The energy savings were calculated by the client. The implementation takes place as energy supply contracting with efficiency measures.
The useful heat demand for all properties is approximately 2,700 MWh/a, and the electricity requirement is approximately 550 MWh/a.
Delivery starts on September 1, 2022. The contract has a term of 15 years (basic contract term).
The heat supply contract can be terminated prematurely by the client with a period of six months to 31.8.2032, without the need for a reason for termination in this respect.
The contractor (contractor) uses capital and know-how at its own risk to improve the energy efficiency as well as the structural and plant equipment of the properties. The energy service provider plans and finances the technical measures and implements them. He also takes care of energy-efficient operation management, maintenance and heat supply during the contract period.
In the event that the contractor decides to supply the electricity generated in the heat generation plants to the client at least in part, a power supply contract must also be concluded with the client, which has the same term as the heat supply contract. Maintaining a share of 80% of renewable energies in total useful heat is an unnegotiable minimum requirement.
