Åmot municipality intends to enter into a framework agreement for the purchase of laundry services and has limited the contest to companies or programmes whose main purpose is to integrate disabled or disadvantaged persons into employment. This only applies when at least 30 percent of the employees in the organisation or the programme have a disability or are disadvantaged, c.f. PPR § 16-9.
The purpose of the procurement is to cover the contracting authority's ongoing needs for the rental and laundering of institutional textiles and clothing for healthcare staff, collection of used clothing and delivery of clean - to ensure that the establishments have a continuous supply of work clothes and textiles. The contracting authority believes that a good and close dialogue with the tenderer throughout the contract period is crucial to fulfilling this purpose.
The tenderer must use his expertise and competence to contribute to fulfilling the objective of the contract.
The procurement covers the rental and laundering of institutional textiles and clothing for healthcare staff at Ryslingmoen nursing home, the home service at Osen Pensjonistheim, Desettunet and the Rena home service in Åmot municipality. Institutional textiles include kitchen towels, washcloths, duvet covers, pillowcases, sheets, towels, etc.

Call-offs for 2022 amounted to approx. NOK 1,000,000 excluding VAT. The stated volume is based on historical figures. This is a framework agreement and does not carry any purchase obligation for the contracting authority. Changes in organisation, budget and routines can affect the total volumes.
The maximum value of the framework agreement is set to NOK 6,000,000 excluding VAT.
