The municipal company Stadtwerke Weiden idOpf is responsible for the new construction of the depot.

The new depot to be built is directly adjacent to the new construction of the waterworks.

The depot is located between Neustädter-Strasse and Georg-Stöckel-Strasse in the north of the city.
