The Municipality of Ylitornio is requesting bids for the management of schooltransport for Ylitornio schools under a public transport license or taxi license on the routes specified below for the 2022—2023 and 2023—2024 academic years, as well as options for the 2024—2025 and 2025—2026 academic years.
At the discretion and decision of the subscriber, a follow-up agreement may be concluded with the winning/winning tenders for the academic years 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 as a direct purchase under stock options. The municipality will decide individually on the use of these option years before launching a new tender. Option years do not oblige, but entitle the subscriber to extend contracts if necessary.
Operations take place in accordance with the established school days in the morning and afternoon. At Ainiovaara, Kauliranna and Raanujärvi schools, school starts at 9:00am and Mellakoski School at 8.30am. End times vary. The end date of the semester may be Saturday. The routes and completions to be run will be checked at the start of the school year when final information on pupils and reading orders is available. Checks are carried out in cooperation with the subscriber and selected contracting partners. However, the final decision power lies with the subscriber.
