Delivery and maintenance of a 1.5 Tesla MRI for Klinikum Westfalen GmbH

A 1.5 Tesla MRI is to be procured. With the system, special emphasis is placed on the fact that it can be used universally for as many specialist departments as possible in-house. The MRI and a comprehensive maintenance contract are put out to tender. New devices must be offered. The system will be used in radiology at the Knappschaftskrankenhaus Dortmund. The term for the maintenance contract with commissioning of the system (expected on 01.01.2023) ends on 31.12.2027 (i.e. a maximum of 60 months). The contract is extended by 12 months if it is not terminated by the client with a notice period of three months before the end of the respective contract. The contract ends no later than 31.12.2034. The agreement thus has a maximum term of 12 years. Should the device be taken out of service before the end of the contract period, the contractor will be informed accordingly. In the information provided by the client, it is determined on which date the maintenance contract ends. The costs are due pro rata (in months) to the year of decommissioning for the last time. After the contract has been awarded, the KW will handle the financing via a leasing contract. The KW independently selects the lessor after the contract has been awarded and informs the contractor for further processing.
