The city of Freiberg intends to build a new building for a daycare center in the Gellertstraße district, which will be redesigned. The new building replaces the previous facility and will accommodate 120 - 140 children. In the new building, group and sanitary facilities are planned for 40-45 crèche children and 80-95 kindergartners. The building integrates a multi-purpose room, necessary utility rooms, an office, and a common room for up to 25 employees.
The pedagogical concept is based on the teachings of Pastor Kneipp, for whose practical implementation sanitary facilities should be equipped accordingly. The outdoor area must be designed in such a way that separate play areas are created for the crèche and kindergarten. The proposed construction project will be funded through the support program VwV Kita - Bau, Landesmittel. Total construction costs of approx. EUR 3.8 million gross are planned for the project. Completion of the construction project is scheduled for 12/2020.

It is also planned to award the following special services:
- Advisory services related to the granting of grants such as:
- Consulting services building physics.
Basic services according to point 1.2 appendix 1 HOAI 2013 including necessary inventories
Thermal insulation and energy balancing
Building acoustics (sound insulation)
room acoustics
- checking and evaluating side offers,
- Checking and values of construction-related supplementary offers,
- Display of defects and monitoring of defect removal within the warranty period for the trades where the bidder supervised the execution.
The commissioning takes place in stages divided into individual service phases. Upon conclusion of the open procedure, the commissioning of LPH 2 and 3 for the construction project is contracted. There is no legal claim to the transfer of all planned service phases. Likewise, there is no legal claim to further appointment after provision of first phases of service.
Object planning outdoor facilitiesThe client intends for property planning services outdoor facilities acc. HOAI §39 to award the LPH 2-9.
It is also planned to award the following special services:
Display of defects and monitoring of defect elimination within the warranty period as well as monitoring of developmental care

- Engineering control of the design of the structure with the tested static documents.
