Description:
Biotope mapping Saarland 2020 Offenland-OBK IV / Wald-WBK II

1) All objects with area fraction within the lots are complete, ie beyond the leaf cut boundary to capture (exception: national border). Boundary matching with existing objects of the OBK must be carried out carefully;

2) The mapping is selective. Within the mapping scenery, all habitat types of Annex I of the Habitats Directive (object class BT) must be recorded and evaluated, and all biotopes protected under § 22 SNG (object class GB) in conjunction with § 30 BNatSchG must be recorded. In the forest, a simplified mapping rule applies to the LRT 9110 and 9130 outside the FFH areas (see point 5);

3) A special focus should be placed within the FFH areas on the capture of biotopes at special forest sites (azonal, extrazonal);

4) In forest areas outside the NATURA 2000 areas, forest biotopes on zonal forest sites are not recorded terrestrially, but on the basis of an aerial image analysis.

TK 6407/1 - 6407 NW (Saarland share)

1) Binding capture software is GISPAD 5.0 with the latest mapping method;

2) All objects with area fraction within the lots are complete, ie beyond the leaf cut boundary (exception: national border). Boundary matching with existing objects of the OBK must be carried out carefully;

3) The mapping is selective. Within the mapping scenery, all habitat types of Annex I of the Habitats Directive (object class BT) must be recorded and evaluated, and all biotopes protected under § 22 SNG (object class GB) in conjunction with § 30 BNatSchG must be recorded. In the forest, a simplified mapping rule applies to the LRT 9110 and 9130 outside the FFH areas (see point 5);

4) Within the FFH areas, a special focus should be placed on the capture of biotopes at forest special sites (azonal, extrazonal). These were only inadequately recorded in the previous actual condition recording;

5) In forest areas outside the NATURA 2000 areas, forest biotopes on zonal forest sites are not recorded terrestrially, but on the basis of an aerial image analysis. Only where the LRT 9110 and 9130 can occur together due to the natural conditions and geological conditions, a terrain survey for verification is required. In any case, delimited polygons containing the LRT (without rating) are to be supplied. The digital acquisition takes place in the GISPAD object class "BT." The cursory forest LRTs (9110 and 9130) are to be registered in the object class "BT" and the identifier is by "_K" (Ex .: BT_K-6509-0001 -2020) (see OSIRIS manual 4.3).

Azonale / extrazonal forest types or forest areas with suspected occurrence of protected biotopes are to be recorded in each case in the area.
