The subject of the order is to manually remove raids of trees and shrubs from an area of 11.39 hectares with biomass elevation beyond the area of peatland in Natura 2000 Orle PLH220019.8. Active conservation activities are planned on a fragment of habitat 7230, located on plot 473/2, within Mount, Wejherowo municipality, where valuable plant species are present, including Loesela Liparis loeselii lipiennik and glossy hook Hamatocaulis vernicosus. The structure of the habitat is varied, tumpe-valley and in the form of mechark. The valleys are often permishant and deep. The habitat is crossed by drainage ditches, partially overgrown. The depth of the ditches varies strongly from a dozen cm to approximately 1.2 m.13. The scope of work includes the removal of all trees and shrubs, regardless of their height and species, excluding protected species. Stems cut as low as possible at the ground itself together with the root necks, without destroying neighboring plants. Brz and So seedlings can be plucked with roots. Removal of raid and undergrowth, including regrowth, must be done using hand tools (e.g., pruners, machete, cleaver, axe) or blacksaws and internal combustion saws.
The choice of equipment for the performance of the work should be dependent on the type and size of the shoots necessary for removal. When using a combustion saw or a flue scythe, remember the need to selectively cut trees from the clumps of protected species, as low cut height and proper efficiency of the treatment (do not leave the regrowth of Brz up to 40 cm high).
The cut biomass must be collected and removed outside habitat 7230. For shoots up to approx. 1 m high and low compaction, biomass is allowed to be left at the cut-out site, loosely scattered.
Removal of biomass immediately after the cut, and in case of temporary failure to lift it (e.g. due to high water levels), translate it until the surface is drained or frozen. In this case, the biomass should be laid in prisms, where possible in places where it will not shade the regenerating bog vegetation.
