The supply of de-polluted end of life vehicles to Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service for the practice of rescue techniques following road traffic collisions. Delivery of the vehicles will be to designated sites on a call off basis, and collection of the vehicles, as required, after training is completed. Due to the nature of the training and the equipment used, vehicles will be subject to large scale disassembly, with roofs, windscreens, glass and doors removed as minimum standard. This will materially affect the resale value of components spare parts. It should be assumed that the value of the returned vehicle will not be anything beyond basic scrap. The procurement has been split into Lots, there are 6 Lots for Essex and 2 Lots for Kent, based on geographic areas.
