Up until 31.12.1991 NRK was a member of the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund. Since 1.1.1992 the company have had a private defined benefit scheme in DNB Livsforsikring ASA. From 1.1.2016 a defined benefit scheme with associated risk coverages shall be implemented.
Per 31.12.2014 NRK AS had 4,024 active members. In 2014, 421 persons entered the scheme, while 409 persons left the sheme. Per 31.12.2014 Aktivum AS had 26 active members, of which five were enrolments and five left the scheme.
In connection with the transition from a defined benefit scheme to a defined contribution scheme, NRK shall enter into a contract with a pension broker who shall provide assistance in connection with the implementation of a new scheme as well as ordinary operation in the next few years.
Based on NRK's requirements, the agreement shall include the following products and services:
— Defined contribution scheme;
— Risk coverages (i.a. disability pension and child's pension);
— Access to a pension portal for the company and employees;
— Integration to NRK's personnel computer system (Agresso);
— Implementation and training in connection with the introduction of the defined contribution scheme and associated risk coverages;
— Continous consultancy service and information regarding the pension scheme; a competence team that shall, in accordance with requirements, be available to NRK and the pension broker.
The following options shall be included:
— A saving scheme mirroring investment choices of the defined contribution scheme (concerns saving of compensation payment);
— Occupational pensions (i.a. in connection with special age limits).
The defined contribution scheme shall be implemented from and including 1.1.2016.
