Hadsel municipality's technical operations department, also referred to as the contracting authority, is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipal roads in Hadsel municipality.

Hadsel municipality invites tenderers to an open tender contest for a framework agreement for winter maintena'nce work on selected lots. Winter maintenance is in this context defined as ploughing, clearing, and sanding/salting.

A contract will be entered for each lot. Tenders may be submitted for one or more of the lots. Tenderers who have submitted tenders for several lots can in principle be awarded a contract for one lot and lose on others lots. If the tenderer submits a tender for several lots, a prioritisation of the lots must be given in the tender.

Hadsel municipality has 7 lots that are subject to snow ploughing and sanding/salting during the winter season. The winter season is from October 15 to April 15 each year.

The contracts will apply from the autumn of 2022 until the spring of 2025, with an option for 1-year extension. The option will be taken up automatically. If the contracting authority does not want to activate the option, written notification must be given within minimum 3 months before it comes into force.
