The municipality of Eching intends to build a new day care centre for children.

The demographic study, which has already been presented to the municipal council, has shown that in the coming years there will be a significant increase in demand for crèche, kindergarten and after-school places in the municipality.

The profile specified in the development plan allows the accommodation of about 6-7 group rooms. On the 2nd and 3rd floor, depending on the size, 16 residential units can be realized.

An underground car park is to be built under the building complex to cover the space required for the residential units and the day-care centre. This should include 7 parking spaces for the KiTa staff and 24 parking spaces for the residential units in accordance with the municipal parking space statutes. In the outdoor area, a possibility for short-term parking could be provided, for example for parents who bring their children by car to the daycare center and pick them up.

With the new construction of the Eching-West day care centre, 36 crèches, 50 kindergarten and 50 after-school places could be created, whereby the groups should be flexibly prepared for both crèche and kindergarten use.
