As an organization, we focus as much as possible on waste prevention, reuse and care for our environment. This means that 'waste collection' is transformed into 'raw material collection'. The waste that is nevertheless produced in the chain is made suitable as much as possible to become in accordance with applicable regulations

The service provider who is assigned this assignment is a professional, innovative and future-oriented partner of Hogeschool PXL who is looking for a link with the Unesco Social Development Goals:

- SDG11: sustainable cities and communities,
- SDG12: responsible consumption and production,
- SDG13: Climate action.
The present assignment is being carried out on the following campuses:
- Campus Elfde Linie, Elfde-Liniestraat 24-26 in B-3500 Hasselt,
- Campus Quartier Canal, Bootstraat 11 in B-3500 Hasselt,
- Corda Campus, Kempische Steenweg 293 in B-3500 Haselt,
- Campus Vildersstraat, Vildersstraat 5 in B-3500 Hasselt,
- STEM ACADEMY, Kempische quay 85 in B-3500 Hasselt,
- Campus Guffenslaan, Guffenslaan 39 in B-3500 Hasselt,
- Campus Diepenbeek, Agoralaan b. H at B-3590 Diepenbeek.
Object of these specifications: the core task within this service is the cleaning of all classrooms in the buildings of Hogeschool PXL. In addition, three options are described: emptying collection islands in the buildings, emptying collection islands in the outdoor area and emptying mobile paper containers.
Explanation: the core task in this assignment concerns the general or specific cleaning of classrooms, sanitary facilities, offices, catering, warehouses, auditoriums, outdoor furnishings, [...]. The waste collected during this cleaning must be deposited directly by the service provider in the appropriate waste container.
Objective: in its strategic policy plan, Hogeschool PXL states that its services are professional, accessible, flexible and transparent. The infrastructure of Hogeschool PXL is aimed at campus life, networking and community development.
Professional cleaning and a sustainable waste policy are essential to achieve this.
We expect a sustainable and socially responsible commitment from the service provider, both as executor of this assignment and as a partner of Hogeschool PXL in realizing its ambition.
