Power supply accessories. The authority has a requirement to procure NATO Standard Electrical Connectors (200V AC 400HZ and 28V DC conforming to STANAG 3303 and 3302) and associated piece parts spares to enable the maintenance of Electrical Power Ground Servicing Equipment. The connector must conform to BS ISO 461-1 (Aircraft Connectors for ground electrical supplies design, performance and test requirements) and BS ISO 461-2 (Aircraft Connectors for ground electrical supplies dimensions).

Use of the connectors is widespread across main operating bases within the UK and deployed operations where fixed and rotary aircraft operate. A Demand Orders Spares contract is required to supply NATO standard electrical connectors and piece part spares to enable the repair of current in-service assemblies and to supply complete new assemblies when required. Should more than six companies express an interest in this possible future requirement, a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) shall be used to enable a down-selection process to be completed. Those companies that are successful at the PQQ stage (a maximum of six and minimum of three) will be invited to Tender for the requirement. As part of the tender phase, current in-service samples of the required Electrical Connectors will be provided to all bidders to ensure any bid solutions are compatible with existing equipment. No drawings will be supplied with the equipment.
