Structural planning.
The subject of the planned commissioning of this VGV procedure is
Structural engineering, according to HOAI § 51 et seq. m. above. Appendix 14, LPH 1 to 6 for the renovation and conversion of the SLUB, as well as taking stock of the existing central library building in structural planning areas.
The Free State of Saxony, represented by the Saxon State Ministry of Finance, represented by the Staatsbetrieb Sächsisches Immobilien- und Baumanagement, intends to completely renovate the central library.
Since its opening, the central library has developed into a highly frequented knowledge location and central workplace pool for science and teaching. In recent years, construction and technical facilities have been very demanding on opening hours of up to 16 hours a day. The associated restrictions on maintenance, care and maintenance justify the high degree of wear, especially in technical systems.
The renovation of the building is therefore urgently needed. Since the building is to be preserved in the existing cubature, a balance between main usable space and technical area must be considered and coordinated at the same time an economical solution for the conversion and renovation of the central library. To this end, the potential of the building and its use must be weighed against each other and compared in a variant study.
An initial cost forecast shows total costs of around EUR 93.2 million gross (KG 300-700) for the overall renovation.
