The construction project involves the renovation, energy upgrading and optimizing the design and architectural history of the former Carmelite monastery in Boppard, which is now used as a city administration (also called Carmelite or administrative building in the following). The building is a listed building and is located in the core area of the city of Boppard. There is a church in the north. On the east side, Karmeliterstraße runs parallel to the building. On the south side, the entrance for the adjacent car park “Karmeliterstraße” is immediately adjacent.
