The district of Hameln-Pyrmont is planning the construction of the new school centre in Emmerthal. The new building will be a merger of the primary school and secondary school forms. The new building is being built on the site of the current Hauptschule and Realschule, so interim solutions must be developed in order to be able to maintain school operations during the construction period.

In the present award procedure, therefore, a "project controller" is to be commissioned to control and review the new construction project as a representative of the client.

The district of Hameln-Pyrmont is planning the new construction of the primary, secondary and secondary schools. The existing school building of the Hauptschule and Realschule has to be demolished in order to free up the area for the new building. Interim solutions for the further schooling of the approximately 570 pupils must be found and built. The new building is to be constructed as a timber hybrid building. The conclusion of the contract with the general planner is imminent. In the present award procedure, therefore, a "project controller" is to be commissioned to control and review the interim solutions and the new building (approx. 10,800 m2 gross floor area). The project controller is essentially to take over project management services based on the service profile "project management" according to § 2 of the performance and fee regulations project management (Publication No. 9 "Project management in the construction and real estate industry - standards for services and remuneration") of the AHO expert commission "Project controls / project management as of March 2020".
