The tender deals with a contract concerning treatment (pre-treatment and bio-gasification) and sale of all source-sorted organic day-care waste (KOD) from households, cottage areas and municipal institutions in the municipality of Tønder.

In addition, the contract deals with transport of KOD from Tønder Waste's transhipment station to the supplier's treatment plant as well as other transport in connection with the processing and marketing of waste and residual products.

The contract is valid for 2 years from 1.3.2020 to 28.2.2022 with the possibility of renewal 2 x up to 12 months.

Collection of food waste / KOD is a new collection scheme in the municipality of Tønder. The scheme will start on 1.3.2020 and will be phased in over the next 3 months until it is widely implemented per year. 06/01/2020. In addition, the new scheme will be expanded in 2020 in some cottage areas, where separate collection of food waste will be introduced in buried containers.
