The Project is for the provision of public realm improvements the towns of Newtownards, Comber and Donaghadee. The projects will run concurrently and will be be delivered under one construction contract.

Newtownards Public Realm will include the following Streets: Regent Street, Frances Street, Castle Place, High Street, Mill Street, Gibson's Lane, Lower Mary Street, Meeting House Lane and Conway Square.

Comber Public Realm will include the following Streets: High Street, Killinchy Street, Castle Street, Bridge Street Link, Bridge Street and the Square.

Donaghadee Public Realm will include the following Streets: Shore Street, Parade, Bridge Street, High Street and New Street.

The public realm schemes involve the provision of high quality stone kerbs, and provision of high quality stone paving, semi mature tree planting, herbaceous planting and supply and installation of street furniture, signage, street lighting and feature lighting. Specific items to note will be the transplanting of mature trees from Conway Square (Newtownards) and a new Sea Wall in Donaghadee.
