Carrying out the tasks of the air passenger control service at Niederrhein Airport

The Düsseldorf district government is the responsible aviation security authority for the performance of tasks in accordance with §§ 5 and 8 LuftSiG for Niederrhein Airport in Weeze. The special powers include, among other things, the checks of passengers and baggage in accordance with § 5 LuftSiG (air passenger control service). The transfer of the passenger screening service to an appropriate security service provider is the subject of this procurement procedure.

The contract is concluded for the period from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2026 and can be extended once by up to 12 months.
