The silt landfill Francop on the Süderelbe as a landfill according to the Recycling and Waste Act (KrW- / AbfG) occupies wide area of the valley south of the Old Süderelbe. It adjoins directly to the watercourse of the Old Süderelbe.

Large parts of the landfill area Francop will become a public park in the future. The resulting hill (area of the landfill) will have the function of an extensive green area after its complete recultivation, which is also of great importance for the landscape-related recreation due to its large area and its integration into the above-ground open space composite system.

The mowing work for existing meadows and grasslands for the period from 2019 to 2020, sowing of green areas and green meadows in 2019 and 2020 as well as planting in the fall of 2019 including completion maintenance in 2020 and development in 2021 are listed.

The present call includes:

- sowing of fresh meadows and dry grasslands in 2019 and 2020 in the area currently under surface cover or planned, as well as the production of interim greening on already constructed land to be planted in the autumn of 2019 or autumn of 2020;

- The maintenance of fresh meadow and dry grassland areas of the already recultivated landfill sites on the hill of the Francop landfill for a maintenance period of 2 years, starting after allocation in June 2019 until the last mowing in September 2020.

The areas to be worked on include all ready-made fresh and dry grassy areas including corresponding trench areas.

- Production of approx. 31,000 m2 of new planting in the autumn of 2019 with plants supplied by the client including all ancillary work required including 2-year planting area maintenance and fence construction / fence demolition.
