Reconstruction of the tram track on the section from ul. Toruńska to the tram terminus at OM Rządz and "Reconstruction of Chełmińska Street on the section from ul. Laskowicka to ul. Wiejska "as part of the investment tasks "Reconstruction of streetcar infrastructure for the needs of public transport in Grudziądz" and "Reconstruction of a fragment of voivodship road No. 498 (ul. Chełmińska) in Grudziądz.


Part I.

Part one: reconstruction of Toruńska street as part of the investment task "Reconstruction of the tram infrastructure for the needs of public transport in Grudziądz."

The following works will be carried out as part of the first part:

construction works related to the reconstruction of ul. Toruńska on the section from ul. Marcinkowski to al. 23 January will rely on a comprehensive reconstruction of ul. Toruńska (the entire width of the road lane). The works will involve the complete demolition of the existing road structure and track. A new road and track structure will be constructed. The works will include reconstruction of the traction network, road lighting and reconstruction of underground networks (sanitary, water and telecommunication). The new pavement will be adapted to the movement of both wheeled and rail vehicles (trackless construction of the track). Reconstruction of ul. Toruńska will also cover the construction of pedestrian paths, the width of which will be adapted to the adjacent residential buildings.


Part II

Part two: "Reconstruction of the tram track from ul. Wiejska to the tram terminus at OM Rządz ”as part of the investment task entitled "Reconstruction of the tram infrastructure for the needs of public transport in Grudziądz."

The following works will be carried out as part of the second part:

the tram track will be rebuilt, which was designed along the existing track with a uniform track distance of 3.90 m, with the exception of the fragment at the bus and tram platform near the intersection of Chełmińska and Tytoniowa streets, where the track distance of 2.90 m will be adopted. reconstruction of the existing tram terminus at OM Rządz together with the construction of an additional holding track. The loop was designed in a way that would allow later expansion of the track to the south, to a future housing estate. In the area of the loop, new bus stops will be provided to provide passenger service by regional buses, forming together with the loop and the stops associated with it a transfer node connecting regional and public transport. The joining of buses to traffic in ul. Konstytucji 3 Maja is foreseen through an additional 3 m wide lane. A separate tram track runs parallel to the carriageway of Konstytucji 3 Maja on its south-eastern side. Over the entire section, numerous crossings and crossings will be made, as well as 6 tram platforms (including 2 common tram and bus). At the end of the first part of the study along ul. Constitution of May 3 a link to the southern tram terminus was foreseen. The second section of the track within this part of the investment task begins after the intersection of Chełmińska / Kraszewskiego streets. The track continues along ul. Chełmińska as separated from the road along the entire length of the development up to the intersection of Chełmińska / Wiejska streets. 1 bus platform and 5 tram platforms will be constructed, on which a splash protection barrier is to be installed preventing passengers from entering the road. The track within the limits of the study will be made as classic in ballast technology. Sidewalks and bicycle paths were linked in the situational plan to the project entitled "Construction of an urban system of transport bicycle paths" including, among others, ul. Konstytucji 3 Maja, Południe, Kraszewskiego and Wiejska. Construction works will include the replacement and reconstruction of all traction columns and equipment of the overhead contact line. The traction network on the route will be made as a chain one with a DjpS100 contact wire and a Cu95 suspension cable suspended from booms made of insulating materials or transverse suspensions. Traction posts will be positioned in the inter-corridor if possible. On the Rzadzdz loop, the overhead contact line will be made flat suspended with the use of booms or rope suspensions for poles placed in the immediate vicinity of the tracks on the loop.

Within the scope of traction network development, 8 sections of a multiple semi-compensated chain network will be made. As part of the task, a switch control and heating installation will be built at the OM Rządz loop. The rebuilt section will also receive new lighting made in LED technology.


Part III

Part three: "Reconstruction of the tram track along ul. Chełmińska (from Laskowicka St. to Wiejska St.) "as part of the investment tasks "Reconstruction of the tram infrastructure for the needs of public transport in Grudziądz" and "Reconstruction of Chełmińska street on the section from ul. Laskowicka to ul. Wiejska "as part of the investment tasks "Reconstruction of a fragment of voivodship road No. 498 (ul. Chełmińska) in Grudziądz."

As part of the third part the following works will be carried out:

construction works will cover the modernization of the track from ul. Wiejska to DK 16 and will consist of the reconstruction of the track system connecting directly with the task of rebuilding the track from OM Rządz. Construction works will involve the reconstruction of the entire track infrastructure from the intersection of ul. Chełmińska with ul. Laskowicka to ul. Rural. The works will consist of dismantling the existing track surface, making its new construction in ballastless technology along ul. Chełmińska, while the section outside the roadway will be made using ballast technology. As part of the investment, a new traction network will be constructed, tram platforms will be rebuilt (the tram track will be similar to the platforms to make it easier for passengers to get on and off public transport vehicles). The works will also cover the solution of all collisions with underground utilities (telecommunications, water supply and sewage networks), and new road lighting will also be made. All works will also include reconstruction of pedestrian paths. New parking spaces will also be constructed. In terms of roads, the works will consist of the construction of a new roadway structure and new pavement structures.
