The Trust have run a procurement to award a contract to provide a Managed Cleaning Service and Associated Cleaning Consumables across two acute sites and various community properties in the south east London region for a period of 5 years with a 2 year optional extension period.

Guy's and St. Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust have appointed a supplier to provide a Managed Cleaning Service and supply associated Cleaning Consumables across 2 acute sites and various community properties in the south east London region. For clarity this service includes the internal and external public and communal areas of the acute sites only and does not include the main clinical and patient areas; this service is delivered in-house. The service does however include a full night time cleaning service to the newly built Cancer Centre on the Guy's Hospital site. The service also includes the provision of ad-hoc cleaning services to include post building cleans following capital upgrade works and post infection cleans and deep cleaning services.Also included is the management of the Trust's microfibre laundry and distribution service.
